Is it possible to sit in on the conference without presenting? I’m a new graduate student and don’t have enough research completed yet to warrant presentation. If so, would I still need to apply? Would there be a fee?
HRI Pioneers Workshop does not permit auditing, but interested students at any stage of their academic career are encouraged to apply.
Also note that the main HRI Conference begins the day after the Workshop. Anyone may attend the HRI Conference but there is usually a registration fee. Please check the main HRI Conference website for more details.
Can you please tell me where can I find information about how to write (spacing, format, etc) the two-page extended abstract describing the applicant’s past, current, or proposed work ? Thank you! I only found information about how to write the article.
There is only one document – the article you mention is the same thing as the two-page extended abstract. The two-page extended abstract can be on actual work conducted, or if the applicant is a new student, can be on proposed work, or current work in progress. The formatting instructions given apply to this one document.
